JENNIFER IMIG, Ph.D.

Dr. Jennifer Imig is a clinical developmental neuropsychologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of neurological and psychological conditions that impact individuals across the lifespan.

She is fellowship trained in neuropsychology to work with children, adults, active duty soldiers and veterans, and geriatric patients. Her particular areas of clinical expertise in children and adults include: Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Autism/Pervasive Developmental Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury and Soldier Post deployment Health.

As a neuropsychologist, Dr. Imig provides an array of evaluations from brief consultations to comprehensive evaluations of psychological, cognitive, personality, academic, and occupational functioning. The evaluations are catered to address the needs of the individual and the referral question. After the evaluation, a comprehensive report is provided as well as consultation with other providers, family members, or schools to support the well being of the individual, as requested.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Imig has designed programs for veterans and active duty soldiers returning from combat to support their successful reintegration, particularly into school. She is also the co-author of a pre and post deployment comprehensive evaluation tool that has been used with the Wisconsin National Guard to evaluate the relationship between pre and post deployment factors, TBI and PTSD on successful soldier reintegration.

She is excited to have joined with Psychology Specialists in Illinois where she will work with clients of all ages, as well as continue to work with veterans and active duty soldiers in the private sector.

Dr. Imig is the director of The Child and Family Wellness Institute, a new division of Psychology Specialists, that provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and integrated behavioral and supportive treatments for children and their families.
