JENNIFER KOCH, Psy.D.
Jennifer Koch, Psy.D. is a license clinical psychologist specializing in the psychological treatment of chronic pain through the use of biofeedback, relaxation training, and guided imagery. Dr. Koch originates from Colorado and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Argosy University/Phoenix at Arizona School of Professional Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Bowling Green State University Counseling Center in Bowling Green, OH and has completed her post-doctoral fellowship in health psychology and pain management at the Millennium Pain Centers located in Bloomington and Normal, IL.
In addition to Dr. Koch’s health psychology focus, she has extensive knowledge and training in the area of sport & exercise psychology. She has worked extensively with athletes of both elite and non-elite status, and at individual and team levels.
Dr. Koch’s treatment modalities include cognitive-behavioral and person-centered psychotherapy. Her professional interests include stress management techniques, depression and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and unresolved grief and loss issues. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.
