COURTNEY SCHUNEMAN, PSYD

Dr. Courtney Schuneman is a license eligible doctoral resident specializing in the field of health psychology. Dr. Schuneman earned her master’s and doctoral degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and completed her pre-doctoral internship at La Frontera, a community mental health organization in Tucson, AZ. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with minors in family studies and Spanish from the University of Arizona.

Dr. Schuneman has had training and experience working with geriatric, adult, child, family, English and Spanish speaking populations. Her areas of interest include chronic illness, pain management, adjustment, grief/loss, end-of-life issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, rehabilitation, neuropsychological assessment, developmental disabilities, and trauma. She utilizes a client-centered approach with clients while providing them with the tools necessary to achieve a higher quality of life.
