VALERIE WECK, PhD

Valerie is a post-doctoral fellow specializing in psychological techniques for managing chronic pain.  After completing a pre-doctoral internship at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Valerie earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana.  She has experience working with adolescents and adults in various therapeutic modalities. 

Valerie's areas of professional interest include chronic pain conditions, anxiety spectrum concerns, holistic health, spirituality, and working with sexual minority populations.  Valerie utilizes, an integrative therapeutic approach combining the collaborative working relationship of person-centered therapy with the interventions and techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy.
