SHERRY YODER, LCPC
Sherry Yoder is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who specializes in the treatment of couples, families, and adults. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University. Ms. Yoder completed psychology internships with the Student Counseling Services at Illinois State University and at Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur, Illinois.
Ms. Yoder has worked as an academic advisor at Richland Community College, and she was employed as an addictions therapist at Chestnut Health Systems, where she specialized in the treatment of adults with substance abuse and mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression, and family concerns. Ms. Yoder’s treatment orientations include biofeedback, cognitive-behavioral, existential, and client-centered psychotherapies.
Her professional interests include pain management, marital/couples counseling, spiritual issues, grief and loss, substance abuse, personality disorders, and holistic physical and mental healthcare. Ms. Yoder is a professional affiliate of the International Psychology and Health Psychology Divisions of the American Psychological Association.
